MIGS CDT Cross-disciplinary Afternoon – Wednesday 30th March 2022
** Meeting Mathematical Physics, Computational Mathematics and Applied Analysis **
The workshop will take place on the 30th March, 1.30pm – 5pm at ICMS – Bayes webinar room 5.46 and online on Zoom.
For those wanting to attend in person, please inform David Bourne (HW) in advance.
The purpose of this mini-workshop is to bring together our MI PGR students to feature three different fields of specialisation, Mathematical Physics, Computational Mathematics and Applied Analysis. For this afternoon, we will have presentations by three prominent academics in these fields. The event will give us an opportunity to experience contact with these subject, above and beyond what we normally study as part of our regular training programmes. All welcome.
This event is supported by MIGSAA, MAC-MIGS, and the ACM and EMPG Seminars.
